Need Fun Reliable Activites For Your Seniors?
Check out our "Senior Reflections" Music Makers program.
In our day-and-age there is no shortage of leisure activity to be found. The problem is that too much rest and relaxation will lead to stagnation and a decline in mental and physical well being. Our Senior Reflections program brings music and smiles to the residents of senior living communities. Our proprietary singing and song writing group program is designed specifically for seniors.
IMPROVES MEMORY. Research has shown that the repetitive elements of rhythm and melody help our brains form patterns that enhance memory. In a study of stroke survivors, music helped improve memory, concentration, and attention.
IMPROVES MOOD. Studies show that making music can benefit overall well-being, help regulate emotions, and create happiness and relaxation in everyday life.
PROVIDES COMFORT. Music therapy has also been used to help enhance communication, coping, and expression of feelings such as fear, loneliness, and anger in patients who have a serious illness, and who are in end-of-life care.
IMPROVES EXERCISE. Studies suggest that music can enhance aerobic exercise, boost mental and physical stimulation, and increase overall performance.
IMPROVES COGNITION. Making or listening to music can also help people with Alzheimer’s recall seemingly lost memories and even help maintain some mental abilities.

Finding activities that are fun, engaging and stimulating is a challenge at any age, but even more so as we age. And finding a good activity that gets better every week is golden.
When we just play music at people sometimes they just use that for nap time. But, when we work with them to create the music they’re not just awake they are activated.
